When Eugene Meyer bought The Washington Post in 1933 he published "These Principles" in The Post's first Code of Ethics: •The first mission of a newspaper is to tell the truth as nearly as the truth may be ascertained. •The newspaper shall tell ALL the truth so far as it can learn it, concerning the important affairs of America and the world.

Dear Students, Faculty, Alumni and Friends, It's finally spring and no one could be happier about it than all of us over here at The Trident. Spring is known as a time of growth, change and renewal. We'll be dealing with a lot of all three this spring term.
