Letter to the Editor
Issue date: 2/7/07 Section: Opinion
Dear Editors,
In the January 31 article on ususual PE skills courses, Ms. Evans reported that "when the general education requirements are adjusted soon. After the change, students will only have to take four PE requirements instead of five." I wanted to clarify that all current students will be required to complete five PE skills courses, and will be held to all GEs currently in place through graduation. Only new students entering Fall 2007 or later will meet the requirements of the new Fundamental and Distribution Requirements (FDRs), including taking only four PE skills courses.
Sincerely,
Scott Dittman, University Registrar
