Peyton Manning does it when it counts:

Yeah, I know that there is another article that talks about this extensively, but I cannot write about this past week in sports without mentioning this game. Finally, after far too much time of not getting it done in big games, he did it on Sunday, leading the Colts to a game-winning Touchdown over the Patriots in the final minutes of the game. While I am one of those people that strongly believes that football is a team game, and he cannot solely be blamed for his teams' losses, I could not help but say "here we go again" after the interception return that put Indianapolis down 21-3. But Manning got it done. To come back from that interception, and a terrible first half overall, and to lead his team to victory on his shoulders makes this impressive for any quarterback, especially Manning. The guy is going to be the greatest statistical quarterback of all-time when he graduates, and for everyone's sake that watches ESPN, I am hoping to not have to hear that he did all that, but couldn't win the big one. We'll see how it goes in a week.

UNC's Absurd Talent:

I've been watching a lot of college basketball lately and have noticed one scary thing:. North Carolina is the most talented team, top to bottom, that I have ever seen. I'm not saying they will win it all, yet, but their talent is flat out scary. They have two starters from last year that barely see the floor this year because they have a log jam. They have future stars that you have not even heard the name of waiting in the wings. They have dismantled good teams, and even when they struggle, they blow teams away in the second half because they are too deep and will run you off the floor. The second thing I've noticed is that Bruce Pearl, coach of the Tennessee basketball team, is the most insane and awesome coach in sports. He wears bright orange jackets, sweats more than anyone one earth, and paints his body and wears headbands for the UT women's games.
